How it influenced my life:  This book was introduced to me in the early 90's. It shifted my thinking and actions in so many ways it is hard to get it all across with words. I became more open to others. I learned how my own thoughts created my world. I learned how interconnected we ALL are. It has helped me through tough times and allowed me to enjoy the good times much more thouroghly. It has allowed me to forgive in times when I felt that would be impossible. It is the kind of book that you can open to any page and read any paragraph and it will speak to you.

Title: Atlas Shrugged
Author: Ayn Rand

How it influenced my life:  This has been my absolute favorite novel for years. I read it in my mid twenties when I was running my real estate company. It was a tribute to entrepreneurs. It was an inspiration to work your guts out for something you believe in. It was a message to me personally that has kept me striving for greatness for over a decade. This book is a must read for anyone who wishes to create greatness in their life. Ayn Rand created a book that quite clearly shows the power of the entrepreneur. It demonstrates what happens if that spirit is squandered versus nurtured. The dramatic differences are a gripping read!

Title: How to Buy and Sell Real Estate Without Using a Bank!
Author: Michael P. Watson with Jennifer Hawkins

How it influenced my life:  Mike and I have written the 2nd book in our series! This one has the potential to change this country. In it we teach how to buy and sell properties using seller financing. We even teach you how to get "seller financing" from a bank with little or no down payment and great interest rates. This is a must read for anyone who wants to invest in today's market in an efficient manner.

Author: Joe Vitale and Ihaleakala Hew Len, PhD

How it influenced my life:  This book has been a true blessing. It is the only book I have ever read for the second time immediately after finishing it the first time. From reading this book I have learned that I can heal things or help fix things that I have no logical way of knowing how to help. It has also been a huge stress reducer in my life. This book if widely read could truly change the world. It has the ability to heal anything that humans have created, anything.

How it influenced my life:  I was introduced to this book at a time when I was unable to find my own voice. It inspired me to reach down inside and trust my gut. Then instead of sitting by and letting people just float put in my two cents. This book is essential for anyone who works with people.

Title: Hypnotic Writing
Author: Joe Vitale

How it influenced my life:  I read this book one week before I finished writing my third book. It was a blessing and a curse. The ideas and techniques that Mr. Vitale teaches are completely imperative for excellent writing. They improve a book's readability a thousand fold. Unfortunately that meant I had to re-write the entire book. So I did. If you are in the business of writing anything that is seen by others this book is a must read!

How it influenced my life:  I was given a copy of this book 15 years ago. The information in it explained exactly how humans are set up. It explained how to use our minds to better our own lives and improve the world around us. The tools in it have become a regular part of my method of operating. The examples and insight into how we can function with what we have been given help clear away the things that stop us from achieving greatness. Use this book as a tool to create anything you want in life. Literally.

Title: The Power of Now
Author: Eckhart Tolle

How it influenced my life:  I read this book when I first became a mother. I will always be grateful to Mr. Tolle for bringing this information and practice to my life at that critical time. I sometimes find myself getting lost in the details of moving life forward each day. This book helps me remember that the only really full life is the one we live in each moment. For each moment is all we really have, the past is not here now and neither is the future. Though as humans most of us tend to get our heads twisted up so much in the past and future that is is quite impossible to enjoy the NOW. This book is unbelievable and showing you how to experience the NOW and therefore have a much richer life on a daily basis. Thank you Eckhart.

How it influenced my life:  This is the second book I have read of Jerry Stocking's. It is an inside look at how Jerry quit "The real world" of psycotic work life that we as Americans think is normal. It has helped me relax, enjoy life, look at what I am doing with different eyes, and really know I am being what I should in each moment. It has effected my relationship with my children in a very simple but powerful way of being more present. It is a must read for anyone who is a "borderline" workaholic.

Title: The 4-Hour Work Week
Author: Timothy Ferris

How it influenced my life:  This book was the inspiration for this web site. Timothy has some incredible ideas for helping people become financially free. When I read his book ideas just started popping into my head. Then I would turn the page and there would be the tools to implement the idea. This book took my ideas and have made them into reality. I have used several of the sites he talks about in the book. His ideas resonated with my beliefs about passive cash flow. If you have any calling at all to be an entrepreneur in this century this book is a must read. It has kept me from from doing and doing and doing until I die. It expanded my mind about how fun the world can be. Thank you for writing this book and sharing your information with the world.
